How is that we have come to separate ourselves and our indivdual existences as being different from each other ? This perspective is very shallow and self centered. Humans all share the same fate wether we believe it or not. Black folks, white folks brown folks, yellow folks or whatever folks we are all in this thing together. Wether we want to believe it or not. I mean, don't we share the same space, the same time, the same DNA, the same everything. How can we go through this life and not realize this ? Are Americans better off than Africans ? Are Muslims better off than Christians ? Are Jews better off than all of us ? I think not !

Lets examine this in further detail.  The chain is only as strong as the weakess link. And Humanity is the common ground on which we all stand. We are all one in this journey on this planet in this time. Think about this, what is the one thing that binds us all together ? The space that we occupy. We can not separate ourselves from that. Wether rich or poor, American, African, Asian or European. We all occupy this planet Earth (and this is not the universal name for our planet). We are so short sighted that we refuse to see the bigger picture. The rest of the universe is just waiting for us to, in the tech words, come on line.

While we struggle to make a living, pay our mortgages and indulge our sense of entitlements the better things in life just pass us by. Or more aptly put, the better things in existence just pass us by. Wouldn't it be great if everyone was wealthy ? How wonderful would that be. But if we classify wealth as material posessions only then we are out of balance. But is it not possible for us all to be wealthy ? Of course it is, we just have to see it.  We must begin to rethink our priorities and what we consider valuable. Our financial institutions must head in a different direction as must our political philosophies. Humanity, for all the time it has had to develop has only developed a small amout of its potential. One of the greatess minds of our time, Albert Einstien said, and I quote" Anyone who is seriously involved in the study of science must recognize that all things operate in accordance to a higher power. And in light of this man must Humble himself in that presence". Call this power God, Allah, Jehovah, The Universe, whatever ! It is a higher power.

Since the beginning of our march toward civilization we have been governed by the spirit of material accumulation. This translates to greed, self indulgence and a sense of entittlement. Well this is why the system is broke. And contrary to popular belief, the Good Ole Days aint comming back. Humanity is beginning to pay for the collective decisions we have made. If we are to turn this thing around it will require seeking the highest and best that man can conceive. Not a return to the good ole days. 

But we dont need to fear, help is on the way. All that is required is that we look inside ourselves. After all, that is where this Higher Power lies. As Jesus stated, "The Kingdom of Heaven Lies Within You".
