It starts when something gets out of balance with the natural order of things. It culminates with sickness, infirmity or total destruction. When there is an invading entity which does not belong, its presence creates a threat . Sickness does not have to preceed death but it sometimes does. Sickness and death occur not only in the body but can also occur in every system on earth and the universe. It can happen in business, a family, a political system, a civilization, or even in the thinking of intelligent beings. Lets look at the body as a microcosm of how things operate when an emergency occurs.

The body's natural state is health, in this instance the body could represent earth, our way of living, the things we hold sacred or any number of things that pertiain to life here on this planet. When foreign cells enter the body, the body sends investigating cells to determine if they represent a threat to the systems that are vital to the healthy functioning of the body. These investigators could be representative of the military, the local police, aditors in business, concerned family members, doctors, any number of people or groups responsible for the healthy functioning of our political system or enlighten spirits with vision and light. The purpose of the invading cells is to feed upon healthy misguided or weak cells and to reproduce as prolifically as possible. The invading cells can be thought of as misguided desires, greed, misuses of power, criminals, abusive parents, or even inconsideration to the needs of others. Many times the investigators are not alarmed because the threat is minimal to the body as a whole. For it appears that any resulting infection can be contained by calling white blood cells to destroy these invaders. 

But a strange thing happens in some cases. The invaders can have the ability to confuse the white cells which have come to destroy and contain them. They trick the white cells into thinking that they are harmless thus the white cells live among the invaders but do not precieve any threat. The invaders are therefore left to continue their purpose to eventually destroy the body. Since the white cells have been tricked, the rest of the body is not alerted to any danger, until it's too late. It is this writters opinion that the majority of systems that operate on Earth are sick.

Many of the things that we hold valuable in the pursuit of life are not optimal. Our vision as a race of beings appears to be very limited. There is sickness on Earth that appears to threaten the quality of life for billions of people if not all of us. Just look at how our present way of life is being challanged. Don't take my words for this, open your eyes and listen and look for yourselves. Recently the former Chairman of The Board for the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan made a comment concerning his thinking and decisions regarding the US Economy. He testified in front of a Congressional commitee concerning the fallout on Wall Street that he had made choices because he had believed, IN HIS HEART, that he was right. He concluded that in retrospect he was wrong and truely disturbed by accepting the factors on which he based his decisions. This is amazing from a person of his stature and power. But this does show tremendous humility on his part to admit this. But it also indicates that we have set our sites too low !

The invaders to our thinking and our concepts of what is right and what is wrong or what is important or what we value and work for have been largely implanted and ingrained in us. Our educational system is a form of indoctrination.  This not just opinion on my part. If you read the transcripts from the semi-public meetings held for the creation of the public school system in the United States in 1890 something, you would understand why I have this opinion. One of the value traits of an advance civilization is having imense power and strongly refusing to use it for its own self interests.  And instead of trying to convert all citizens to their way of thinking they use their power to promote cooperation and peace. Although America demonstartes tremendous charity and good will in many many instances, we still have a very very dark side that the average citizen is not aware of. Most dont care to know and the other half simply would not believe the acts committed in the name of democracy.

There is a documentary that can be rented entitled :" American Drug War, the last White Hope" about the CIA, the Iran Contra Affair and how money was raised to finance clandestine wars not approved by Congress. The enemy lives among us. This is not an attack on any one individual or group, it is a warning that greed, the desire for power, materialism and indifference are our greatest threats. It is also not just an American problem because these things go on worldwide. This is a Human problem ! Which can be fixed by Humans.

Collectively our sights must be set on higher values. We must find our place in the Universe and in the family of God. World peace is achievable and so is a high standard of living for all people. After all we have lifted ourselves from being a primative race to one which has created our great present civilization. So if we can do this, we don't need to stop here. Lets route out the invading cells in our systems of living and our way of  thinking. Lets cultivate understanding and practice tolerance. I have no doubt that The United States will lead the way in resolving the current planatary condition. We should use our resources and power to first heal our nation and lead the way to healing our planet. We should be guided by the understanding that we are all one on this planet, in this time. If we can develope a commerce and economy that is not based on the lesser values of accumulation and materialism we will create a light so great that the rest of the world will have no choice but to follow our lead.   Lets push forward to even higher heights of awareness and vigilance. But let us not forget, none of this should be done without the spirit of God and the forces of righteousness which prevade and dominate the Universe.
